On Thursday, February 15, Honor Tech introduced a new product range in India that includes the X9b 5G phone, the Choice Earbuds X5, and the Choice Watch series.
The 6.78-inch full HD+ (1200 x 2652p) AMOLED 120Hz curved display on the new Honor X9b can reach a maximum brightness of 1200 nits. In addition, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor, twin SIM slots, a type-C port, and IP53 dust and splash resistance certification.
The device is equipped with a 4nm class Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 with Adreno 710 GPU, 8GB LPDD4X RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, MagicOS 7.2, which is based on Android 13 and is expected to receive an update to Android 14 soon, a 5,800mAh battery, and a 35W charging capabilities.
Its triple-camera module (primary 108MP, f/1.75), 5MP ultra-wide camera (f/2.2, support macro), and 2MP 4cm macro sensor (f/2.4) with LED flash and 4K video recording capabilities are among its photography hardware features. It has a 16MP sensor (f/2.45) on the front for taking selfies and doing video chats.
The new Honor X9b’s Ultra-Bounce 360-degree Anti-Drop Resistance is its unique selling point. It is equipped with cutting-edge cushioning technology and has been approved by the reputable SGS of Switzerland. In addition, it has a construction that absorbs shock, is heavily fortified in ten zones (six faces and four corners), and can withstand unintentional drops of up to 1.5 meters—even on hard surfaces.
Additionally, for a maximum of 180 days following the purchase, the company is providing free screen replacement. The price is Rs 25,999.
The Honor Choice Earbuds X5 have a small, ergonomic shape that fits securely in the ears and reduces irritation even after extended use. It also has IP52 certification, which indicates that splashes of water won’t harm it.
It features Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which can cut ambient noise by up to 30 dB. It has a novel ANC algorithm that effectively filters and reduces background noise when combined with an in-ear engineering design. These earbuds also have enhanced connectivity with Honor AI Space, which makes switching between two devices a smooth experience. It can run for 35 hours on a full charge. The price is Rs 1,999.
The Honor Choice Watch, on the other hand, has a 1.95-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 410 x 502 pixels and a maximum brightness of 550 nits.
Advanced sleep quality monitoring accurately detects and records overnight sleep patterns, exploring deep sleep, light sleep, REM, sporadic sleep, and awake time. It also enables SpO₂ monitoring and all-day stress monitoring.
With the ability to integrate five major satellite location systems and a wide range of 120 sports modes, the watch is a comprehensive fitness companion suitable for users of all skill levels. The user can wear it for swimming as well thanks to the 5ATM water resistance level.
It can run for over 12 days on a full charge. The price is Rs 6,499. Starting on February 16 in India, Amazon and a few other retail locations will sell all three Honor products.
