A huge explosion at an illegal fireworks factory in the Madhya Pradesh region of Harda has left at least 11 persons dead and numerous others injured in factory blast. They’ve hurried the injured people to the hospital.
An area of fifteen kilometers was affected by the explosion, which happened at a plant on Magardha Road in Bairagarh Village, Harda.
A stampede was caused by the factory blast shockwave, shattering the glass windows. The search and rescue mission continues today.
Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav said over 50 ambulances were rushed to the spot and announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh for the families of the deceased.
“Our minister Ranvendra Pratap Singh, DG Home and around 400 police officials have left for the spot. We are trying to control the fire and provide immediate assistance to the injured. We will provide Rs 4 lakh to the families of the deceased and the injured will be given free treatment,” he said.
